it can be very trying at times
but it can also be very rewarding
we try to focus on L and her needs
and we prefer to take a gentle approach
she has a place on this earth just like anyone else
she may be small, but she needs her feelings and emotions heard
we try to listen and respond to her as she needs us to
we want her to feel comforted and we want to be trusted
everything she feels is real
