saggy skin

gray hairs

dark circles

you made me

a mommy

you make me want

to be a better person

for you two
others
and for myself

and that trumps all.

motherhood has changed me
for the better

for that, i thank you two.

my world revolves around you two, my loves.

most things you go through in life, change you. in some way.

i believe we go through things to learn about ourselves.

each person we build a relationship with serves a purpose in our life.

we take something from each relationship we have, no matter how long or short.

motherhood, by far, has taught me the most,

and i'm sure there will be much more to learn

about life, myself and being a mother

in the future years.
