last weekend.

this past weekend was a nice and quiet one.

i wanted to slow down time a little.

relax.

enjoy the weather and family time.
it was so nice out.

i got to spend saturday morning catching up with a long time friend.

enjoyed a late lunch with the family.

then took an amazing nap with my little guy while marco and lyla slept too.

the house was silent, except for the breeze in the curtains and the water trickling in the fountain.

these days are my favorite.
i have been loving the fresh air.

the rest of the weekend consisted of:

lots of outside play time, baking cookies in the afternoon, 
and early evening walks as the sun sets.

now we have a 'cold' front, but that won't stop
us from getting some fresh air.
